Accountability Rules That Actually Work

Track proof, not intentions.
“I meant to do it” is not the same as completing the action. Track sessions, pages, hours, messages, steps or another visible form of evidence.
Make the minimum standard clear.
A weak day should still have a version of the habit that counts. Lower the standard when needed, but do not disappear from the routine.
Set check-ins before motivation fades.
Schedule the review now. A check-in that depends on remembering later usually does not happen.
Use recovery rules instead of guilt.
A missed day should trigger a reset action, not a story about why you have failed. Return quickly and make the next action smaller if needed.
